Job description
We’re expanding our Quality Assurance team here at Octopus Energy ECO (Energy Company Obligation). We’re looking for an Onboarding Coordinator to join us to ensure that all new starters are on boarded into Octopus Energy ECO (OEE) and have the necessary training and resources required for their role.
Reporting to the Head of ECO Quality Assurance you’ll be working in the ECO Quality Assurance team, whilst holistically working with our Installation, Support Services, Submissions, and Partnerships teams across ECO.
This is a hybrid role based from our ECO Nottingham office at least 3 days a week.
What you'll do - Ensure new starters feel welcomed and valued from their first day through to their first month with OEE and being an advocate and promoting the Octopus Energy culture from their first day.
- Work with Managers to plan and coordinate new starters onboarding and training as required.
- To be a team player and be confident in delivering onboarding and making people feel at ease.
- Support the team's growth through impactful coaching and development.
- Resource equipment required for new starters roles as directed by Managers.
- Create an onboarding training matrix which will be used to log teams training programmes and inform managers of training needs.
- Look for opportunities to improve the onboarding experience.
- Research training opportunities that could help drive performance in teams.
- Work holistically with all teams across OEE.
- Attend and represent all suitable meetings, both virtual and face to face
What you'll need - To be an effective leader, with the ability to inspire a team.
- To have experience of onboarding new starters and coordinating training across different teams.
- To be a relationship builder, having the ability to create great working relationships with people across cultures and perspectives.
- An excellent attention to detail.
- Have the ability to think creatively and logically to react to changing strategy.
- An understanding of the ECO is a bonus.
