First Call Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for our clients nationally recognised FMCG organisation.

Managing a large, Northern area, Ideally candidates will come from a FMCG background, with either a sales or account management experience.

Candidate duties will include:

• Adding volume, value and margin targets for customers accounts
• Customer specific plans across all new and existing clients
• Cross-sell products across all managed accounts
• Collaboration with Sales Controller to help deliver accurate monthly forecasts for demand planning
• Direct feedback from customers to relevant departments within the company

Candidate experience will include:

• Have a FMCG background and examples of working with customers to implement winning brand and customer strategies
• Ability to demonstrate strong selling, negotiation and problem solving skills with a proven track record of growing customer business
• Strong commercial acumen to develop customer propositions
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, however an element of flexibility is needed during peak periods.

Basic starting salary is 40kpa, company car or car allowance options & company benefits.
