Job description
At Hill we are looking for a L&D Partner to work in our HR Department. Championing and fostering a learning culture, to design and deliver various L&D interventions and initiatives.
You Will -
- Support the effective coordination of training and events.
- Assist in the assessment of training needs and supporting the development of training activities to address competency gaps.
- Curate and assign learning on our Learning Experience Platform to further the blended learning proposition.
- Support the Senior L&DBP in developing and delivering on the L&D strategy and proposition.
- Be an internal L&D expert to advise and support stakeholders and colleagues.
- Support our apprentice learners offering pastoral care to help increase engagement.
- Able to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Work with the wider team, including the Talent, and HR team.
- Support the design & development of the Hill Learning Academy
- Support the design, development and administration of performance review process
- Manage the Learning Management System
- Support in conducting tender exercise for L & D providers/suppliers
- Support the L& D Administrator in the collation of training records and certification
- Support the development and communication of core competencies for the business
- Support the design, development and administration of Company-wide learning interventions
- Manage the requests for professional studies
- Support Mental Health & Wellbeing across the Group
- Support the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy
- Facilitate training, team development, lunch & learns and webinars
- Develop the elearning offering as appropriate
- Develop and maintain career development plans and learning pathways
- Support the Group Succession Planning Process
- Support the internal mentoring programmes
- Manage the Degree Apprenticeship Scheme
- Manage the apprenticeship levy and the CITB funding process, maximising savings for the Group
- Work in partnership with the CIOB, CITB and HBF Skills Partnership to promote opportunities within the Sector
- Maintain links with the relevant colleges, universities and schools to support employability initiatives and promote the brand within the Communities within which we work
The ideal candidate will have -
- Experience working in a fast past business, working on several priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective content and courses.
- Ability to manage the classroom environment including virtual classrooms.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A full understanding of the life cycle of training design through to evaluation.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Can work independently and collaboratively with others.
- Excellent ability with judgement, critical thinking and initiative.
- Experience working with an LMS.
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools would be an advantage.
- Understanding of Apprenticeship funding rules would be an advantage.
