Junior PHP Developer
Colchester CO4

We are recruiting for a PHP Developer on behalf of a Technology company who are looking to expand their team and are offering career progression and lots of personal technical development for the right person.

This is an exciting role that would be well suited for a developer who is keen enhance their career and work with new technologies and grow professionally.

In this role you will be expected to work closely with the software engineering team to develop new systems, both internal and public facing applications as this position incorporates both front-end and back-end development in addition to DevOps and hardware management.You will be initially working on projects utilising PHP and React in an AWS environment.

Applicants will have education or commercial experience working with PHP and an understanding or desire to work with Symfony and React.

Once fully embedded in the role your tech stack will become:

• PHP / Symfony / Node / Rust
• TypeScript / JavaScript / React / Webpack
• Nginx -
• SQL (Aurora) -
• Linux, Docker, Alpine
• AWS
• Git, GitLab

This role offers hybrid working (once trained) so applicants should live nearby or be prepared to travel to Colchester 5 days a week until embedded in this position.
