Process Cooling Solutions Technical Sales Manager
The responsibility of a Process Cooling Solutions Technical Sales Manager is to create and manage a successful and profitable chilled water division. The suitable person will be in charge of developing strategic business plans to grow this sector while also expanding our expertise and abilities in the chilled water industry.
The role:
- Generate sales of industrial process water chillers
- Responsible for water chiller installations and project management
- Working closely with suppliers for sales of the required product range
- Work closely with all other departments of the business to ensure improvement to the quality of our delivery to all stakeholders, internal and external
- To be the leader of the cooling solutions team for the betterment of the business
- Be the designated person responsible for all meetings and discussions with clients or prospects for water chiller applications.
- Provide and prepare quotations for projects, replacements, and aftersales care packages.
- Site manage and report works in progress for water chiller installation projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the required specification.
- Providing customer satisfaction in the quality of service delivered
To succeed, you will need:
- More than 5-years experience in a similar process cooling sales role
- IT literate with experience of a computerised sales system
- Significant experience of developing a sales strategy and delivering it successfully within an environment where reporting and accountability are considered essential
- The ability to devise, price, bid, plan, manage and deliver projects from inception to commissioning
- Inspires trust and operates with integrity
- Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication and 'people skills'
- Good planning and organisational skills
- The ability to work calmly under pressure
- Attention to detail and able to handle paperwork
- Happy working to targets with deadlines and able to work under pressure
- Knowledge and awareness of sales processes, procedures and systems
- Able to take direction and advice from others
