Lead Electrical Engineer
Crawley – Hybrid

Thales is a world leader in the development and integration of products and systems for the protection of allied naval fleets on a global basis. We invest heavily in concept development, product enhancement and career progression to provide industry leading systems across the defence sector.

We’re currently recruit for an Electrical Design/Electrical Systems Engineer to operate at a Lead level and take a focal role in the development of architecture, systems and designs associate with product development within our Underwater Systems team.

Key responsibilities

Skills, experience and qualifications required

We’re looking for an experience Electrical Engineer with a strong understanding of Electrical Design and Systems Integration within a Safety Critical Environment. Relevant Electrical qualifications are required i.e. HNC/HND/BEng or above.

Experience of Electrical/Electronic Design Roles including some of the following:

Security Clearance statement:

Due to the sensitive nature of much of the work, all applicants must be eligible for Security Clearance and due to the nature of projects we require candidates who can are eligible for Security Clearance (SC level minimum). This typically requires a minimum of 3-years based in the UK as the minimum criteria.
