We are currently looking for a Project Planner to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Cheshire area. As the Project Planner you will be responsible for the successful planning and scheduling for a variety of Engineering projects.
This is an initial 11 month contract with possible extension. The role is 4 days p/w on site, 1 day p/w remote.Your duties as the Project Planner will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Project Planner, you will coordinate with Project Managers and project teams to establish specific project responsibilities. 2. As the Project Planner, you will develop and implement a detailed planning approach for projects and knowledge of critical path method scheduling. 3. As the Project Planner, you will perform technical schedule analysis (review of float, logic, etc.) for the schedule as well as updates and revisions during the life of the project. 4. As the Project Planner, you will be a strong user of Primavera P6 and experienced in project control.To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Project Planner we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in an Engineering related discipline. 2. Proven industry experience in Project Planning / Project Control (Approx 5-10 years industry experience). 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Primavera P6, knowledge of NEC contracts and experience using CEMAR or other contract management software.
