Learner Mentor

 

Pro rata of £23,264 - £25,424 per annum (i.e. £21,377.73 - £23,362.59), plus £560.54 Crawley Weighting Allowance

34 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

 

You will need to be an outstanding, passionate and organised individual to provide a high level of mentoring support to our 19+ high need students to ensure their journeys at College exceed their expectations and achieve our goal of remaining “Outstanding”.

 

Experience of working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities is essential.  Also required is a detailed understanding of the following: SEND Code of Practice; Education, Health and Care plans; Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults.  Experience of mentoring and target setting would be an advantage.  You will need a level 3 qualification or equivalent.

This role can be challenging but would most definitely be rewarding for the right candidate, just think you would have the future of these special students in your hands - you could be the one who makes the difference!

Crawley Campus is centrally located in easy walking distance from the town centre and public transport, the campus has recently had huge investment which has enhanced many areas of the campus, we have an on-site Café/coffee shop and restaurant.
