Runcorn
You will be a member of the site management team (SMT) and you will lead by example and contribute to the site operations, including; safety, quality and engineering. The Operations and Process Engineering manager will manage the daily production, including planning, budgets, targets, plant and equipment, process, environmental health and safety, quality, employees, new product/process introductions (NPI), performance, adherence to schedule and continuous improvement by reducing the cost of poor quality in the department.

Key Responsibilities
· Ensure site and operational targets and plans are developed, communicated, implemented, and delivered.
· Understand and deliver customer needs on time and in full.
· Collaborate with all site functions including Quality Control & Technical Services, EHS and Engineering to achieve site and functional targets and objectives.
· Ensure environmental health and safety and quality compliance, following Company procedures, legislative, regulatory and operating licence requirements.
· Manage goals for each area.
· Lead a culture of continuous improvement and focus on operational excellence.
· Defining, implementing and improving the proper process standard operating procedure (Times and Methods analysis), process instruction, standard work and preventive actions to achieve the best in Quality and Process performances.
· Partner with Quality, Technical Services, and Engineering for training on overall product process and equipment. Making suggestions to ensure safe manufacturability and repetitive processes.
· Work as part of a team to deliver new product or processes, resolve issues, implement change and other site initiatives. Providing Subject Matter expertise to support improvement initiatives.
· Ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
· Deputise as Plant Manager when required.
Qualifications
· Minimum Technical Degree, or equivalent, in Engineering/Chemical Engineering or other relevant qualification.
· Over 5 years, Chemical/ Engineering process and operational management experience is essential.
· People management experience. Over 5 years of experience in a management role.
· Knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements (environmental, health and safety, and quality and employment law). LSS yellow belt and knowledge of LSS basic methods and tools.
