About Our Client
Our client is a well-established manufacturing firm with multiple sites across the UK. This role is to working predominantly and long-term at the Sheffield site which has over 100 employees. The business pride themselves on their high-quality products and commitment to employee development.
Job Description
- Be part of the business management team
- Provide strategic human resources support and guidance.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Handle employee relations, including grievances and disciplinaries.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the company.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Lead on attracting, developing and retaining employees through Learning, development and training programmes
- Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Work with and support the senior HR Advisor
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'HRBP' should have:
- A degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven experience as an HRBP or similar role in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop strategy along with leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
