The two brands sell through the Company's phd.com and scienceinsport.com digital platforms, third-party online sites, including Amazon, and extensive retail distribution in the UK and internationally.

In 2022 the company opened a state of the art 160,000 square foot manufacturing and logistics facility in Blackburn, Lancashire. Providing a significant advantage in product costs and customer response time. And this allows Science in Sport to have the highest standards of quality.

Science in Sport is Performance Solutions partner to Ineos Grenadiers cycling team, Tottenham Hotspur, New York City and OGC Nice football clubs, in addition to being the Official Nutrition Partner to the Milwaukee Bucks, 2021 National Basketball Association Champions and in 2023, winner of the women’s marathon at the 2022 World Athletics Championships, Gotytom Gebreslase.

The Role

 Looking to recruit a skilled Revenue & Treasury Assistant. You will assist the team in maintaining company accounts and banking processes, as well as allocating funds on a daily basis. This role will support the Treasury team and is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our business. You will contribute to the success of our team by taking on certain responsibilities for the cash and reporting daily. As a Revenue & Treasury Assistant, you won't be afraid of a challenge, and will communicate confidently and effectively as you will be working with a variety of incredible people from across Science in Sport Group.

• Working Hours : Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

The work - Your 4 most important tasks

• Daily cash posting
• Bank reconciliation
• Digital platform receipts reconciliation
• Credit control

Accountability – what you are responsible for delivering

• Ensure bank statement & invoice finance data is downloaded from the online banking systems and posted into SAP daily and reconciled to bank accounts
• Raising intercompany multi-currency transfers
• Posting cash journals
• Preparation of all payments that are not part of the Accounts Payable process
• Reconciling all digital platform balance sheet accounts
• Support the administration of the credit card program including cardholder support
• Support with Treasury queries, including liaising with the groups banking partners
• Investigate returned payments and liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve
• Assisting in investigation and reconciliation of company ledgers against bank ledgers
• Weekly cash movement summary
• Assisting the Revenue Manager with credit control activities
• Responding to customer queries in a timely manner

Capability - the skills and behaviours required to do this job well

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or AAT qualified is required
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders to cultivate and maintain strong relationships
• Proactive approach to ensure all transactions are treated correctly
• Good organisation and prioritisation skills to meet multiple deadlines
• Proficient IT skills in all Microsoft applications, particularly excel including Pivots, Vlookup & Sumif
• Good numeracy skills

Specific metrics will be set when in role and will be reviewed and built upon regularly. Alongside this, you will be supported with a personal performance plan that will enable you to continue improving your own performance and impact.

• Experience within revenue and treasury would be advantageous
  
• Ability to develop knowledge and understanding of customers patterns & behaviour, to support the Revenue Manager with cashflow forecasting
• A collected and reasoned approach to all tasks and queries 
• A strong financial aptitude and exceptional attention to detail
