We are on the look out for a Scheduling Optimisation Manager to join our successful and dedicated team. This is a full time, permenant opportunity and can be based at either Wakefield or Stockton.
The aim of this role is to maximise the scheduling efficiencies for your geographical area. Providing subject matter expert support for scheduling within your area to ensure production and delivery of schedules are as per agreed processes, continuously providing development and challenge to improve the efficiency and quality of all outputs.

Responsibilities:
- Target increased efficiency opportunities within your area, providing what-if scenarios to drive continuous improvement including identifying opportunities of T&C changes
- Development of schedulers, providing coaching and training support to improve performance and to meet individual and team development needs.
- Provide subject matter expertise and advise to the network managers and Head of Commercial to help improve scheduling outputs
- Maintain copies of all area scheduling requirements and T&Cs, providing advisory support for proposed changes
- Working with UK Bus Schedules Optimisation Manager and other area Schedules Optimisation Leads to develop consistent ways of working and share best practice.
- Monitor the performance and integrity of the scheduling system within your area.
- KPI - audit and distribution of Depot schedules efficiency
- Control and administrate scheduling system permissions for your area, auditing schedule preferences
- Maintain and promote relationships with Depots and TU representatives through Depot visits to discuss scheduling opportunities
- Ensure quality control of scheduling processes within your area.
- Provide scheduling support to UKB regions as required.
