Job description
We are a dynamic health tech startup dedicated to revolutionising healthcare delivery, particularly within the NHS, by providing innovative solutions that enhance the lives of NHS staff and patients alike. Our mission is to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ultimately make a positive impact on the delivery of urgent care and healthcare outcomes. As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a talented and adaptable Business Analyst to join our team.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in capturing integration and automation workflow requirements, translating them into actionable plans, and directly contributing to the improvement of NHS operations and staff experiences. You will thrive in a fast-paced and data-rich environment, adeptly handling requirements to support our mission of making urgent healthcare delivery more efficient and effective. You will work closely with motivated, innovative colleagues who care about their work and support each other. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside our world-leading partners including Apple, Palantir, GE and Oracle to name a few.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, reporting directly into our Co-CEO to understand and capture requirements for integration and automation workflows.
Drive customer improvement and efficiency gains by translating complex business needs into understood and actionable technical specifications.
Identify opportunities for process automation and integration, with a focus on enhancing the experiences of NHS staff.
Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that meet the unique needs of our NHS partners.
Conduct thorough validation of integrated systems to ensure functionality and performance in a healthcare environment.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
The position will require travelling to customer sites and working on-site with colleagues 2-3 days a week, the rest of the week you can work remotely, from anywhere.
Has proven experience as a consultative business analyst or is from a strong medical background and highly effective at balancing priorities across multiple projects
Can conceptualise ideas in a simple way and is quick to ‘jump to the whiteboard’ to distil and visualise when collaborating around a project.
Is comfortable asking challenging questions and getting to the bottom of the problem and solution understanding.
Has the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions through effective graphical representation, documentation and internal collaboration.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including NHS stakeholders.
Is self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail.
Is focussed on the net outcome we are looking to achieve, rather than ticking the right boxes along the way.
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively.
Has familiarity with engineering methodologies and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana).
Has experience within the healthcare or health tech industry.
Has experience with data processing, integration platforms and automation tooling.
Has experience working in a consultancy or agency role and collaborating directly with customers.
Opportunity to enjoy a flexible work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery within the NHS.
Collaborative, fun and supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Chance to be part of a health tech startup at a very exciting time and effect positive change in the healthcare industry.
Competitive compensation package with benefits.
Monthly company get-togethers and access to shared office space in the Derbyshire area.
