Job description
My client is a leading logistics company based in Portsmouth. With over 20 years heritage and stability in the business, they are adding to the team and looking for an experienced Finance Manager.
You will be responsible for general day-to-day finance and hold general accountancy responsibilities, such as;
book-keeping,
credit control,
month end reporting,
purchase / sales ledgers,
prepayments and accruals
VAT returns.
You will also have 1 member of staff reporting to you, responsible for day-to-day supporting including purchase & sales ledger inputting.
To be successful in the role you will be hardworking, pro-active and like to get 'stuck in'. You’ll have experience of working in a standalone role and thrive on identifying areas for improvement.
To be successful you will come with experience in Sage Xero and an AAT qualification or above.
