Job description
A highly organised with excellent time management skills Nanny/Governess needed in the fabulous and stunning Dubai, to look after and assist 3 children aged 9,4 and 2 years old. The candidate is required to have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nanny/governess in a private household. The person sought should be flexible, playful, engaging with the children. An educational background, would be also be appreciated. It is important for the role to be proactive, hands-on, and meticulous in all assigned plans and tasks associated with the children.
A major requirement of the role is to be a positive influence on the children, provide motivation and inspiration, and be a good team player. The children love outdoor activities and have plenty of extracurricular activities.
It is also required from the nanny to attend physiotherapy sessions with the 4-year-old boy (due to some speech delay)
Duties:
*taking care of 9, 4 & 2 years old children
*performing general Nanny duties
*School drop off and pick up
*Preparing the lunch boxes
*Children’s laundry
*Accompanying son to his various therapy sessions (speech, OT and PT)
*Assisting in completion of relevant homework tasks be completed
*helping with the wardrobes and uniforms
*Helping the children reach their milestones
*Potty training the youngest boy
*Keeping the children's area tidy
*Travel with family when required (EU, US, more international travel) 14 weeks a years
*Packing/unpacking, organising activities and outings while in vacation) -
*Have a positive attitude responsible and hardworking
*Arranging fun activities /taking them to extra curricular activities
*Taking the children to playdates and parties
*Teaching manners and etiquette
*Children's Health and Safety at home and during outdoor activities
*Dietary Values and Nutrition
*Playing ad having fun with the children
*Keeping the children happy and entertained at all time
*Home and Children’s Room Management
*Light housekeeping duties related to the children
*Running errands
1 full-time housekeeper and 1 full-time nanny are already living with the family. They also have 2 full-time drivers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a German speaking Nanny or Governess
- Either German, French or Arabic should be the candidate's mother tongue with a good level of English -
- EU or UK passport holder
- Confident driver
- Confident swimmer, a strict non-smoker and looking for a long term employment
Start date: October - November 2023
Compensation
Salary offered: up to GBP 4500 monthly (based on experience)
Working days / hours: 6 days a week - 12 hours a day - The nanny must be willing to work some nights and weekends
Accommodation: own ensuite bedroom
Car provided
the ideal candidate is interested in a long-term position.
The candidate will need to have a valid passport, a first aid, a clear DBS or police check and checkable references.
