SEN Teaching Assistants Required for Full Time Roles- Spring Term

An exciting opportunity has arisen for passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team at one of our client schools, located in the picturesque surroundings of North Yorkshire. We are seeking individuals with a profound understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a nurturing approach to support the diverse needs of our students which are across Primary and Secondary age ranges.

Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs.
* Demonstrate a deep understanding of SEN and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement individualized education plans.
* Utilize effective communication skills to liaise with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
* Record and monitor student progress, providing feedback to contribute to ongoing development.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is essential.
* Knowledge and understanding of a variety of special educational needs.
* A calm and nurturing approach to supporting students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
* Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable.
