Job Role: Play Worker

Location: Wakefield, WF2

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time/ Flexible Working

Main Duties:

• set up play areas and make sure they are safe and secure
• lead games, supervise children and give out refreshments
• talk to children about their worries
• build positive relationships with parents, carers and professionals
• deal with injuries and emergencies
• keep records and work closely with parents and carers
• support Class Teacher with resources and lessons

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Experience working in a childcare setting in the UK
• Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
• Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
• Minimum of three months UK residency
• We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
• Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
