Engineering Manager - Hayes - Food/FMCG - £65k -£75k

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead a team of 16 engineers, driving excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Bring out the pace of problem-solving within the team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Communication: Articulate complex tech issues to non-tech stakeholders, acting as an escalation point and bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
- Coaching: Provide guidance and coaching to key stakeholders, including the Reliability Manager, Maintenance Engineers, and Senior Engineers.
- Strategic Thinking: Run with existing plans, add your strategic touch, and contribute to the consistent investment of over a million pounds a year.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in people management, leading teams of 8-15 engineers.
- Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience in [relevant industry], particularly in automated packaging lines, fillers, sealing, and case packaging.
- Capability to lead the development of engineering teams and contribute to strategic planning.
