Applications Engineer

SME sized precision engineering business, part of a global group, are looking for an experienced applications engineer to join their team and help with new and existing applications.
Due to expansion, this is a newly created role and will be instrumental in bridging the gap between sales and the engineering function working on product applications and will play a key role in helping the business penetrate and develop its presence in the emerging new energy / energy transformation markets- hydrogen.
This role will focus on material development ( Polymers) and look to work closely with new and existing clients on material section and makeup of compounds and components that go into special purpose machinery in the energy transformation market. You will be fully up to speed with operators, oems and machinery builders and be able to communication with all levels , shop floor to board level on long term partnerships with the client.
