Registered Veterinary Nurse
Bilton Veterinary Centre
Salary: Up to £30,500 (experience dependent) plus Comprehensive Benefits

An exciting opportunity awaits a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to take on a diverse role encompassing essential veterinary nursing duties. Responsibilities include patient care, anaesthesia (collaborating alongside a nurse with additional emergency and critical care qualifications) and participating in nurse-led clinics.

Currently, we are looking for 30 hours a week and we're flexible and accommodating regarding timings, days, and shift patterns.

Weekend responsibilities are shared equally among our nursing team, with shifts spanning from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm or 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Although out-of-hours duties are not part of this role, we do have inpatients who may require overnight care, but these are attentively managed by other members of our nursing team.

Our veterinarians have interests in Orthopaedics, soft-tissue surgery, ophthalmology, imaging, and feline medicine. Our commitment extends beyond delivering premium GP services to prioritising exemplary patient and client care.

Renowned for our outstanding local reputation, our practice has an extensive client waiting list eagerly anticipating inclusion. Strategically situated in Rugby, our location enjoys seamless access to major road networks and railways, enabling a swift 55-minute train ride to London. Surrounded by picturesque countryside, we're in close proximity to the Cotswolds and Peak District.

About our talented team

Our vibrant team comprises 7 vets, 10 nurses, 4 receptionists, 2 practice administrators, and 1 practice manager. We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to seamlessly integrate into our cohesive and highly functioning nursing team. Our departing nurse is would be happy to engage in discussions regarding this role with prospective applicants!
