QAD 1645/2901Role: Senior Network Engineer Contract Length: Anticipated 12 months Location: Reading – 100% site attendance Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rate As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring network services are maintained and up to date. Your role will involve undertaking various network engineering design, development, and testing activities. You will promptly resolve any disruptions in service caused by hardware or software issues, demonstrating a high level of technical expertise. Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily, the status of the core network, logging incidents where appropriate.
• Escalate, in advance any likely breaches of agreed deadlines.
• Work with customers, project leads, third parties and other stakeholders to discuss technical service issues assisting with the resolution of said issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on network technologies.
• Work to assist with capacity and availability management of the network.

Minimum Requirement:

• Strong network experience (as a senior)
• Juniper OR CISCO
• Routers / firewalls
• LAN/WAN
• Security principles
