Job description

Learning Support Assistant

Do you believe you have the skills and motivation to succeed as a Learning Support Assistant?

This thriving primary school is seeking a creative graduate who can support the teaching staff with a variety of different tasks, primarily supporting children who have a range of additional needs, all varying in complexity. Therefore, you must be a dynamic and malleable graduate who relishes in helping a variety of different individuals.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work with young people in small groups as well as 1:1 in order to help with any barriers to learning that they may have. The children you will be working with may have behavioural, emotional and mental health issues as well as having differing levels of special educational needs.

Do you have a patient, resilient nature and believe you could make a difference to the lives of young children with additional needs?

Are you looking for a role to start from now to carry through until the end of the academic year with scope to continue in September?

If so, this friendly primary school located in Barnet could be perfect for you to kick start your career as either a Teacher or an Educational Psychologist.
