We are delighted to bring a brand new opportunity for a Commercial and Partnership Officer to join Bield’s Customer Experience team.
As our Commercial and Partnership Officer, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the BR24 and wider Bield brand, aligning it with Bield’s core values and service offerings. Reporting to the Head of BR24 & Assistive Technology Development, the successful candidate will work cross functionally to develop strategies to promote the services available and identify opportunities aligned with Bield’s strategies for growth.
This is a full time post, working 35 hours per week (9.00am – 5.00pm) Monday – Friday.

Areas of responsibility include:
- Development of menu of services to enable customers to understand the opportunities available to them;
- Initiate and nurture strategic partnerships that can amplify brand reach and foster collaborative opportunities. Regularly engage with stakeholders to reinforce Bield's presence in the market;
- Liaise with colleagues across Bield as well as key external partners around opportunities for innovation, improvement, and commercial return;
- Assist in the development of a clear and transparent pricing schedule that ensures that customers receive Value for Money, and that all services are appropriately funded;
- Develop and maintain effective monitoring and reporting systems for marketing campaigns and commercial activities;
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand the evolving needs and preferences of tenants and partners. Utilise these insights to inform and refine marketing strategies and service offerings;
-Ensure that the team meet all Business Strategy and operational objectives in addition to complying with external regulation;
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to enable them to provide high quality services and contribute to the achievement of Bield’s strategic objectives;
- Ensure effective and consistent management of people issues;
- Manage and monitor budgets and take timely corrective action as appropriate;
- Represent Bield externally at appropriate forums

Role requirements include:
- Demonstrable experience of managing or supervising a team
- Demonstrable experience of managing and enhancing service offerings, with a focus on brand development and strategic growth
- Demonstrable professionalism in interactions with colleagues, tenants and external stakeholders, with an emphasis on fostering relationships
- Experience in gathering and analysing statistical data to create detailed reports that track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Experience of leading and managing internal projects
- Previous experience of working with older/vulnerable people and working within a housing association environment (desirable)
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and use your initiative to find solution
- Customer centred approach with strong verbal and written communication and
interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience in a Business Development / Marketing role ideally in similar industry (desirable)
- Degree level qualification in Marketing, Business Development or similar field (desirable)
