Hygiene Team Leader/ Food Manufacturing / Cambs

We are working with a leading business who are dedicated to delivering top-quality products to their valued customers while maintaining the highest standards of food safety. The Hygiene Teams are the backbone of their operations, ensuring that cleanliness and sanitation are always prioritised.

Role Overview: As a Hygiene Team Leader, you will work closely with the Hygiene Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the team. Your primary responsibilities will include leading and training the hygiene shift, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate resources to execute the site cleaning schedule effectively.
• Collaborate with the Hygiene Manager to develop a comprehensive resourcing plan for cleaning and disinfection activities.
• Monitor and guide the team in delivering daily hygiene tasks according to the master schedule.
• Conduct regular observations to maintain compliance and discuss improvements with the Hygiene Manager.
• Ensure timely completion and auditing of hygiene documentation, adhering to industry standards.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of chemicals and PPE, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in Hygiene within the Food Industry preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledgeable about food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Hours of Work:

• Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am (flexibility required during peak seasons).
