Financial Analyst

West Bridgford (Hybrid)

Full time, Permanent

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Summary

Tide Partnership are delighted to be working with a large health and social care provider who are looking to grow their finance team by recruiting a Financial Analyst. This is a really great opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join an organisation who are committed to providing the highest level of care.

The Role

As the Financial Analyst, you will be instrumental in analysing key data and developing key budgets for the organisation.

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Analysing key financial data, encompassing revenue, expenses, and profitability, to discern trends, patterns, and potential areas for enhancement.
• Offering suggestions and valuable insights to management regarding initiatives to reduce costs and opportunities for enhancing revenue.
• Continuously overseeing and assessing budget performance throughout the fiscal year, pinpointing possible deviations and suggesting corrective actions as needed.
• Performing financial modeling and scenario analysis to bolster strategic planning, facilitate decision-making, and guide resource allocation.

• Detecting cost inefficiencies, propose strategies for reducing expenses, and contribute to the implementation of measures for cost control.

• Adhering to applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal control protocols.

• Supplying financial insights, analyses, and recommendations to facilitate strategic decision-making, resource allocation, and initiatives aimed at improving performance.

Job Criteria - Essential:

• ACCA, CIMA, ACA (or equivalent) at least 3 years post-qualified experience
• Proven experience as a financial analyst or management accountant
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
• Previous experience working within the health and social care sector is desirable
