Job description
Academics are currently recruiting for a Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant (TA) to work full-time in a Welsh Medium Primary School in Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly.
About the role:
Position: Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant
Pay: £80 - £90 per day
Start Date: 19th of February 2024
End Date: July 2024
Hours: Mon to Fri (8:30am – 3:30pm)
Location: Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time in a Reception Class until the end of the academic year. Your duties and responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will include:
* Supporting the Teacher in general daily classroom activities
* Assisting the children on 1:1 basis, or in small groups with tasks set by the teacher.
* The preparation and provision of learning materials
* Organisation and tidying of the classroom
What’s needed to be considered for this position?
* Fluency in the Welsh Language
* Previous experience working within a Primary School setting is desired
* Obtain an Enhanced DBS Check
* Registration with the EWC
* Be available to work full-time in Ystrad Mynach from the 19/02/2024
