Job description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Production equipment oversight, maintenance planning and calibration planning for medium volume discrete manufacturing equipment - including:

· Robots / Robot Cells

· PLCs

· Grippers / Effectors

· Transfer Systems / Conveyors

· Safety Systems

· Hand Tools/ Air Tools / DC Tools

· Lifting Equipment

· Jigs and Fixtures

· Presses

· Welding Equipment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

· Planning and executing maintenance engineering activities

· External maintenance /calibration vendor contracting and vendor performance management

· Maintenance schedule optimisation and maintenance strategy planning

· Maintenance procedure / standards documentation writing

· Maintenance budgeting and cost planning

· Maintenance / equipment supplier contract execution

· Spare parts analysis and inventory planning

· Equipment reliability and durability estimation

· Periodic/scheduled Inspection and Maintenance Planning

· Emergency / line-down response process definition and execution

· Powertrain Assembly / Body in White Assembly / Trim and Final Assembly (all desirable)
