Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Main Dealer in Portsmouth
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 + Bonuses + Overtime
Alecto Recruitment, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a prestigious main dealer in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles.
- Perform vehicle inspections and MOT tests, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining detailed records of all work carried out.
- Liaise with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for additional work.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a main dealer environment.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to efficiently identify and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A valid UK driving license.
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 + Bonuses + Overtime
