Job description

Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a new Health Centre Manager. This is a full-time position working during School term.

A Health Centre Manager is required to oversee the day-to-day management of the Health Centre and pupil healthcare. The Health Centre provides full-scope medical provision for boarding pupils, many of whom are international, as well as urgent care for all members of the Dean Close community and pitch side first aid for sporting events. Other roles and responsibilities are to include:

• Ensure the smooth running of the Health Centre in line with the recommended best practice guidelines.
• Assume responsibility for all aspects of line managing a multidisciplinary team, including recruitment, appraisals, and continuing professional development.
• Ensure that adequate medical cover and on-call rotas are in place; Rotacloud online software is currently used to manage rotas and shift patterns.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with each School and Foundation department, Overton Park Surgery, and external stakeholders.
• Professionally address any escalation of concerns from colleagues, parents, and pupils

We are looking for an experience candidate with Management experience, ideally within a multi-disciplinary medical team. Ideally, the successful candidate should have and active professional registration and experience in working with an Educational or Healthcare setting.
