We require inspirational and dedicated Music Centre Managers to run our Skipton and Whitby Music Centres, starting on the 8th April 2024.
The post is for two days per week (15 hours), delivered as 1.5 office days during the working week and the running of the centre on Saturday mornings for 30 sessions per year.
The post is term time only (39 weeks per year) with the manager expected to promote and take part in the running of County Youth Ensembles in the weeks not worked on a Saturday.
The successful candidate will lead the centre, organising concerts both regionally and nationally. The centre currently runs ensembles for beginners to adult, with very successful wind bands as their flagship ensembles. We are looking for someone to drive the centre forward both commercially and musically, providing opportunities for local pupils to learn and develop their instrumental skills.
The centres currently run from 9.00 to 12.30 on a Saturday. As such, there is a Saturday supplement payment for 30 sessions per year, on top of the salary.
