Job description

We're recruiting for an Estate Agent to join our Edinburgh Residential Sales Team. This is the ideal role for anyone looking to take their first steps into the world of property and those with a couple of years' experience in the industry, that are looking to progress. 

The role of an Estate Agent is busy and varied. The successful candidate will be assisting with sales enquiries, developing and creating new business opportunities and ensuring our clients receive the best possible customer experience. You'll also provide support to our other Edinburgh agents, who sell some of the finest properties throughout the city.

Responsibilities: 

• Liaise with clients and prospective buyers in a professional, polite and respectful manner
• Full use of REAPIT including maintaining records with 100% accuracy
• Partake in Power 90s to manage buyer database
• Contribute to our measurable metrics by developing contacts and creating new pitching opportunities (targeted on a monthly basis)
• Complete viewing follow ups ensuring 100% of applicants are contacted
• Handle daily applicant enquiries from Savills database system, ensuring accurate details are registered and actioned
• Assist in the organising of new business sign ups, instructing photography and home report visits
• Prepare marketing brochure details and assist with new property uploads
• Assist with preparing sales proposals for new business clients
• Maintain records on a daily basis, liaising with applicants to build rapport and archiving where necessary
• Carry out viewings professionally
• Rotational Saturday office based work as well as out of hours viewings occasionally

Skill, knowledge and experience required:

• Target driven, ideally with some property experience although not essential
• Dedication to provide first class client care and service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organisational and prioritising skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confident and proficient in dealing with applicants and sellers
• Team player
• Ensures compliance of legal, internal and external requirements i.e. Health and Safety, FSA, compliance, Estate Agency Act, GDPR, Bribery Act
• Fantastic business acumen with ability to keep up with latest trends in the property industry and local market
• Have the ability to multi task, take responsibility and follow through on commitments
• Adaptable and flexible
• Professional demeanour and approach to work at all time
• Enthusiastic
• Driving licence and access to a car is preferable
