Job Title: Applications Support
Location: Shrewsbury (Hybrid - 3 Days In-Office/2 Days Remote)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Applications Specialist. You will be joining a Legal organisation that is making significant investments in its IT department to ensure the delivery of consistent and high-quality IT systems and services. The successful candidate will be based in Shrewsbury and will provide specialist support on key business applications to all staff within the firm.
The Role: As a Applications Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Becoming the IT Operations team's specialist with the firm's legal application suite.
- Serving as an escalation point in the incident and problem management processes.
- Liaising with application suppliers to ensure high-level design requirements are met.
- Creating and maintaining application documentation.
- Providing necessary training and awareness on the firm's legal applications suite.
The Candidate: We are looking for a Applications Specialist who:
- Has a good level of education including GCSE's Grade 4-9 or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Has experience working within an ITIL process-driven environment.
- Has excellent customer service skills with a professional manner, being able to deliver technical information in a non-technical way to a range of stakeholders.
- Has a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Windows Server, Exchange, Virtualisation (Citrix/VMware), Active Directory, and Networking fundamentals.
