Job description
The post holder will provide a high quality diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lowerendoscopy service, a high quality outpatient service, including patient administration andmanage gastroenterology and medical in-patients on the gastroenterology ward.On call commitment will be subject to negotiation with the opportunity to take part in theGeneral Medical on call. The post holder will take part in an on call rota for GI bleeding. Thecurrent medicine rota is a 1 in 14 rotation and there is a medical registrar on call at all times.The post holders will be supported by a GI secretarial Team, will have an office and willhave access to a PC with internet.The fixed weekly expectation is likely to include: 3 outpatient clinics a week 3 endoscopy sessions Please see full JD attached including example job plan
