We are working with a local NHS Trust who are seeking a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to join the Mental Health Liaison Nurse in Shrewsbury.
What's on offer:
Location: Based at a local Hospital in Shrewsbury
Rate of pay:£25p/h for days, £30p/h for Nights/Saturdays, £35p/h for Sundays/Bank Holidays
Working Hours: 24/7 service, various shifts
Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake assessment of mental health and care needs of inpatients in the acute hospitals with mental health problems in cooperation with multi-disciplinary teams within the hospital.
Provide clinical advice relating to complex mental health issues to nurses and other health care professionals.
Effectively refer to and liaise with a range of agencies and services so that the patient’s mental health needs are met effectively and appropriately during their admission and following discharge from the acute hospital setting.
