Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Permanent)

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Barnsley. This is a permanent position within the industrial sector, offering a competitive pay rate of £11.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and loading/unloading of goods.
- Ensure accurate assembly, packaging, and labeling of products in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to transport goods securely.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Complete necessary documentation and recordkeeping accurately.
- Assist with regular stock checks and inventory management.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or industrial role is preferred but not essential.
- Forklift license desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent team player, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and overtime if required.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads occasionally.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and recordkeeping.

This role: 

Temp-to-perm. 

Weekly pay.

Immediate start. 

14:00pm - 22:00pm.
