What will you be doing?The person appointed as treasurer will be one of the small group of trustees who head an organisation staffed by 65 volunteers and a small number of part-time professional staff. Read more at
The ideal candidate would have:
Experience in accounting, producing statutory accounts
Knowledge of producing budgets in collaboration with the trustees
Working in collaboration with trustees, and other volunteers playing key roles in the organisation
A commitment to working with volunteers in a not-for-profit arts organisation and managing significant grant funding
What are we looking for?The treasurer should have appropriate financial qualifications and experience of working with a diversely funded charity. Experience of working as a trustee and of working in a not-for-profit arts organisation would be an advantage.
What difference will you make?The role of Treasurer is so important to us - not only do we need someone to keep us on track financially and keep us viable, but equally significantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team to help formulate our vision for the future.
