Hays are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our clients team on a full-time, permanent basis. This service is a residential home for up to 8 children aged 11-18 with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children during the night, as well as assisting them with their personal care (if and when required) medication, and bedtime routines. You will also be expected to complete some domestic tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and preparing breakfast. To be successful in this role, you will need to have the flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays. Ideally you would have experience working with children with learning disabilities, however we would consider applicants with a passion wanting to work with children, or that have experience working with other vulnerable groups with transferable skills.
