Connex Education is working with a SEND school based in Doncaster who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis.

Introducing a remarkable school opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant on behalf of Connex Education! We are excited to present a unique assignment at a school that caters to students aged 5 to 19. The assignment calls for a SEND Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting young people who are autistic or have conditions such as ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and Communication and Interaction difficulties.

Assignment Details

This SEND Teaching Assistant role is to start immediately and is an ongoing assignment, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30PM. This is likely to become a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person.

Person Specification

• Must be able to commit to working 5 days a week.
• Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.
• Be confident in working with challenging behaviour.
• You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
