Finishing Operative

A vacancy has arisen for a Finishing Operative in the Finishing department.
The purpose of the role is to finishing and inspect operations.

The Package for Finishing Operative:
Working hours
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 17:00
Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00

Salary: £24,000-31,300/yr (DOE)
Permanent, full time position

Areas of Responsibility of a Finishing Operative:

To accurately interpret engineering drawings and work instructions/build plans so that Part Numbers, Drawing Issues, relevant ADR's, process specification and finishes can be accurately identified and applied.

Specific / Technical Skill for Finishing Operative:
-Read engineering drawings
-Skills in masking/unmasking and paint spraying are highly desirable
-Assembly background
-Use of basic hand tools
-Basic understanding of measuring equipment

Knowledge & Experience required for Finishing Operative:
-Manufacturing/engineering background
-Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
-Background in H&S policies and procedures / QAI's and COSHH regulations.
