An exciting opportunity has arisen for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and support a child in KS2 at a welcoming school. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in a child's education and school experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a strong and supportive relationship with the child, acting as a positive role model.
• Work closely with the child to facilitate their learning and participation in the classroom alongside their peers.
• Collaborate with the SENCO and class teacher to implement effective strategies and interventions.
• Provide one-to-one support and assistance with tasks as needed.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for the child.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people, particularly those with special educational needs.
• Understanding of SEN and familiarity with the KS2 curriculum.
• Friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
