Job description

Our client an established global freight forwarder based in Hayes are looking to recruit for an Operations Supervisor in their Air Freight Export department

Role will include :-
Oversee the export operational team to ensure they are providing the customers a high quality service
Coordinate tasks and resources to meet customers requirements and department objectives
Using own initiative to handle customer enquires

• Previous experience of Supervisory role within the freight forwarding industry and a through knowledge of air freight export operations
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of Excel, Word. Knowledge of ASM Sequoia would be an advantage
• Good communication and motivational skills, with the ability to delegate and be able to lead by example.
• Excellent strategic, analytical and negotiation skills & the ability to plan, execute and complete a given task within a specified time frame.
• Understand requirements and operational procedures and be able to identify areas that require improvement.
• Good organisation skills and ability to oversee others.
• Problem solving and Leadership skills.

Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm
Salary 40K + overtime
