Job description

Robert Half are recruiting a Group Financial Controller with a growing business based in Swindon. This role is within easy reach of the M4 offering hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days a week on site. It would suit an ACA qualified Accountant with strong financial reporting experience.

The role

The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for a range of duties including leading a team of c.10 people, managing all financial reporting elements and reporting directly into the CFO, supporting them on all financial matters. This role would suit an ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant with experience of working in audit, preferably with some proven experience of working in industry to compliment. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing management accounts production/reporting including financial analysis, insight and commentary.
• Managing all financial reporting under IFRS, and reporting to group.
• Managing the audit including liaising with auditors.
• Business partner with the commercial team and CFO.
• Line management responsibility for the finance team including 1:1s.

You will be joining a growing business with the opportunity to add value, review current processes and procedures, with long term progression to Finance Director. This role would suit an ambitious Financial Accountant/Finance Manager/Financial Controller with at least 5 years post qualified experience.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years PQE.
• Strong financial reporting knowledge including IFRS, with experience of working in Audit.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience.

Package

• £70,000 - £90,000 base salary.
