Job description
Qualified Social Worker, Derbyshire Council, Children in Care Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 3 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Childrens Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 3 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Statutory duties relating to children in care
• Court work relating to looked after children
• Developing and progressing care and pathways plans
• Direct work with children
• Knowledge of looked after procedures
• Experience of discharging care orders and rehabilitating children back to family
• Liaise with other professionals
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
