AV M&E System Designer

Staines salary circa £37,000

A leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

The M&E Designer will sit within the Engineering team and be an authority on technically appropriate, integrated system designs. They will be entrusted with the responsibility of working alongside the Client Direct sales, TSA (Technical Solution Architects) and Project Teams providing technically accurate drawings and advice, meeting identified standards and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Go to person with the ability to understand a scope of work and offer steer to translate that scope into a viable, technical, working solution associated with Mechanical and Electrical aspects

• Communication with key stakeholders on technical challenges that need resolve

• Application of high-level engineering design practices

• Application of an agile approach to deliver and prioritise task within an identified timeframe to include pre and post sales activities (Tender drawings/ Live project drawings)

• Steer and attendance to coordination and design meetings when required within the project lifecycle

Desirable Skills

• Proven track record and knowledge of current AV technology and system integration

• Effective communicator

• A "people person" with effective soft skills
