Empowering Learning Manchester is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Reception Class Teacher to join a large two form entry Primary school in Rochdale. This exciting opportunity arises due to a staff maternity leave cover, offering a rewarding and fulfilling role within an established educational institution.

The Role:
As a Reception Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and guiding young learners during their early stages of education. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and providing a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children aged 4-5 years. Your passion for early years education and dedication to shaping young minds will contribute to their academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to Reception students, following the school's curriculum guidelines.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and a love for learning.
Assess and monitor students' progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to provide effective support for individual students and the class as a whole.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing feedback on students' progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant teaching experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Reception setting.
A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application in the classroom.
Strong behavior management skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all students.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the school.
Please note: This role is not suitable for an Early Career Teacher.
