We are seeking an Operations Accountant with a strong background in finance and accounting, ideally in the FMCG industry, to join our Accounting & Finance team in Carlisle

Description
- Managing the financial reporting for the operations department.
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Performing financial analysis to support operational decision making.
- Ensuring financial controls are in place and compliance with accounting standards.
- Working closely with operational teams to identify cost saving opportunities.
- Assisting with financial audits and liaising with external auditors.
- Providing financial training to operational teams.
- Participating in ad hoc finance projects.
Profile
A successful Operations Accountant should have:
- A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with operational teams.
- A qualification in accounting or a related field.
- Experience with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
