We are looking for a Workday Systems Analyst to join our team.
Where in Wellcome will I be working?
You will work within the People Operations Team reporting to the People Systems Manager. The People Operations team aim is to deliver an enhanced employee experience by providing HR advice and assistance throughout the employee lifecycle. The People Systems team sit within People Operations and are responsible for maintaining and developing Workday to support the employee experience.
What will I be doing?
You will support the people systems manager in the design, build, testing and maintenance of configuration enhancements across the Workday system. You will provide technical level expertise in diagnosing and resolving applications or systems issues whilst ensuring robust data governance, accurate reporting, and security management.
As a Workday Systems Analyst you will:
Undertake discovery, design and build of the full range of configurations (simple through to complex) across all Workday skews (HCM, Absence, Recruitment, Learning, Help, Payroll, Performance, Talent) that meet customer requirements and enhance Workday.
Oversee configuration development undertaken by our Application Management Service (AMS) provider, briefing requirements, testing and moving into production as required and manage the end-to-end testing processes and documentation for any configuration built either internally or externally by AMS provider.
Manage elements of the bi-annual release management process including liaison with product owners to identify requirements and configuration/testing of Workday build to maximise system functionality and enhance user experience.
Support with day-to-day system management including troubleshooting complex system issues/fixes and ensure robust data and security management. Coach People Systems Assistant in basic configuration development
Partner People Systems Manager in communicating systems or software upgrades, diagnosing and resolving any applications or systems issues with minimal system disruption. Support the People Analytics Manager in collating, analysing and developing bespoke and ad hoc reporting to aid leaders and teams in decision making.
Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.
Is this job for me?
This role requires someone who has experience in configuring Workday across different modules and can deliver system changes through from design to testing and implementation. You will be an organised individual with good attention to detail, able to manage multiple configuration activities across our range of modules. The People Systems team is a busy team so you'll get to work on a variety of activities day-to-day and will need to be able to adapt to changing priorities. In this role you will gain exposure across a range of Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Recruitment, Learning, Help, Payroll, Performance, Talent) and get involved with a range of configurations and projects.
We are looking for someone who:
Has Workday systems experience - experience to include configuration, security management, knowledge of Recruitment, Absence & Learning and other workday modules.
Has experience of working with Application Management Services (AMS) providers and with Tableau.
Can effectively communicate and collaborate, with experience in Stakeholder Management.
Has knowledge of Project & Change Management (Systems).
Is able to troubleshoot & problem solve with excellent organisational skills and able to balance multiple deadlines, prioritising workload based on urgency.
Has a good understanding of GDPR and application of the principles to manage data within the system.
