Credit Controller

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Chase and collect outstanding debt from customers within agreed timelines.
• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans.
• Review and release orders following credit policies.
• Conduct credit checks on new customers and assess creditworthiness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer details and account records.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on credit control activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
• Minimum of 12 month's experience in credit control.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in using credit control systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position based on-site. Free parking on site available.
