Position Title: RN MedSurg
Location: Boston MA
Salary Range: $71229.00 to $141000.00
Schedule: 36 hours or 24 hours Nights or Day/Night with Rotating Weekends/Holidays
Partial Relocation Can be provided
Requirements:
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- Hospital nursing experience or experience in a subacute setting
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
Position Summary:
As an RN in the Medical Surgical department you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care. The patientcentered care model combined with a supportive nursing organization enables you to provide the excellent care your patients deserve.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit encompassing assessment diagnosis planning intervention evaluation and patient education.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members patients and their families.
- Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to interprofessional colleagues.
- Update and manage patient records.
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
- Adhere to guidelines and policies established by BMCs nursing organization.
- Assist the leadership team in quality improvement projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- 1 years of RN experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required in certain units.
- Nursing degree: Diploma ASN or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
- Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty certification required for certain practice areas.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Fluency in another language is a plus.
