The Role
Westcoast is seeking a candidate who is passionate about supporting a busy data-driven marketing team and impacting future marketing strategies. This role is about turning campaign data into actionable insights. The Marketing Analyst will take broad responsibility for the full lifecycle of each campaign, from campaign conformation through to data analysis, visualisation and presentation. The candidate must be enthusiastic about data and data strategy, with great attention to detail as well as a thorough understanding of how data fits into (and impacts) the wider ‘data environment’. The Marketing Analyst will take broad responsibility for all data flowing into, and out of, the marketing database, ensuring its quality and consistency. The Marketing Analyst will join the marketing data team working alongside a Marketing Data and Analysis Executive. Duties will be shared. This includes: Understanding and driving the overall data strategy and enrichment plans within the marketing department and ensuring each campaign meets these requirements Updating and nurturing the CRM system to maintain up to date and relevant marketing audiences for campaigns. To use existing - and create new - data visualisations in Power BI and GA4, to present to the marketing team. Provide actionable analysis to push their marketing performance forward. Consistently and correctly transferring data from a variety of sources into our CRM system Working with the Marketing team and various agencies to understand how to construct data in a way that is consistent and aligns with marketing objectives and the bigger marketing data strategy Correctly linking data between various systems and tools so that data flows correctly throughout the marketing data environment Creating customisations within the Dynamics to support ongoing Data Strategy and Data Enrichment Duties Guide data strategy and data enrichment planning Support the marketing team to plan each campaign with data and insights in mind Update and maintain (identify, capture and cleanse) our marketing contact database in accordance with our data enrichment guidelines. Ensure our marketing sales data is flowing correctly, and raise support tickets as required, to correct any issues quickly and efficiently Manage data volume within the system, ensuring that obsolete data is archived Create marketing audiences and activities within the CRM system, in accordance with marketing best practice Measurement and analyse each marketing campaign based on predetermined objectives, as well as conducting comparisons with engagement benchmarks. Present actionable insights to improve future campaigns Identifying ways to improve the measurement of upcoming campaigns through data enrichment Develop and maintain marketing best practice Train new starters and ensure their understanding of data requirements for each campaign Capture certain campaign activity manually where required (events etc.) Champion data enrichment and compliance across the marketing team and various agencies Develop and maintain a CRM operation manual and data enrichment process manual Experience Dealing with large amounts of data (millions of records) Microsoft Excel: high level Dynamics (Administrator experience with Dynamics Processes and Power Automate), Power BI preferable but not essential GA4: mid – high level Microsoft PowerPoint ClickDimensions preferable but not essential Skills Strong data management skills with the ability to collect, organise, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to thin k strategically Excellent organisational and communication skills Translate a Data Strategy into plan, structure and deliverables Comfortable working quickly and accurately under pressure and tight deadlines Ability to work in isolation or as part of a team Self-motivated An interest in AI for dataJob tags

£36k - £38k per annum
